1. The operator and these terms
ProtoxTap is the service name. The legal name and suitable business contact address of the operator have not been confirmed in the project information. The operator must publish required identity and contact details before launch. For enquiries, email protoxbusinesses@gmail.com or call 07923 910153.
These terms are intended to apply when a customer orders a ProtoxTap subscription. There is no automated checkout or payment flow on this website. The ordering, billing and contract-acceptance process must be confirmed before subscriptions are offered.
2. Plans and prices
Each plan is intended to be a monthly rolling subscription, cancellable at any time subject to the cancellation arrangements and applicable rights. Listed prices are monthly: Standard £8, Insights £15 and Complete £40. The prices are intended to be displayed as VAT-inclusive, but the operator must verify its tax position and invoice treatment before publishing a specific VAT statement or taking payment. These terms do not assert a VAT registration status.
Each subscription covers up to 3 NFC cards for one physical business. The allowance is not automatically 3 cards per location and does not imply that separate physical businesses are covered by one subscription. Cards handed over in person have no separate delivery charge. No other delivery method or charge is confirmed here.
Standard — £8 per month
Includes up to 3 NFC cards, hosted card redirection and system tap recording. A customer analytics dashboard is not included.
Insights — £15 per month
Includes the Standard service. A customer analytics dashboard is planned but is not available until implemented and tested. The plan price does not mean that a dashboard is currently usable.
Complete — £40 per month
Includes the core card service. A customer analytics dashboard and one-page business website are planned and are not available until implemented, tested and ready to deliver. Once the included website service is operational, up to 3 design-change requests per month are intended to be available. Unused requests do not roll over. The scope and definition of a design-change request have not been agreed and must be confirmed before that feature is offered.
3. Card service and tap recording
An NFC card provides a link to a hosted redirection service that sends a compatible device to the configured destination. The code currently configures a Google review destination. Device support, NFC settings, network access and third-party destinations can affect whether a tap works or what the customer sees. ProtoxTap does not promise that every device behaves the same way.
The system records card tap events and service lifecycle events to operate the service. A customer-facing analytics dashboard is not currently available. The service does not control the availability, policies or content of a third-party review destination.
Customers decide whether to leave a review and what it says. The customer must not use the cards to filter customers based on expected sentiment, block honest criticism, incentivise reviews or otherwise misrepresent customer feedback.
4. Customer responsibilities and card use
- Provide accurate business and destination information and tell ProtoxTap if it changes.
- Use the service lawfully and in accordance with applicable third-party platform rules.
- Invite customers neutrally and only seek genuine, voluntary feedback; do not offer incentives or selectively direct only positive feedback to a public review page.
- Place cards safely, follow any product instructions provided, and avoid interfering with customers or their devices.
- Keep account and contact details accurate and secure.
5. Support and availability
Contact protoxbusinesses@gmail.com or call 07923 910153 for support. No response time, uptime level or uninterrupted service guarantee has been established. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, technical issues, network problems or circumstances outside the operator's control. This does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Subscription, cancellation and refunds
The intended subscription is monthly rolling and may be cancelled at any time. On cancellation, the card service is intended to be disabled and relevant cards deactivated. The exact cancellation submission process and effective point have not been established, and no automated account-management or billing system is evidenced in the project. The operator must confirm these arrangements before accepting subscriptions. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
The intended commercial refund is the amount paid for the customer's chosen tier for that month, issued within 10 business days. The method and responsible payment process have not been confirmed. This intended policy does not remove any statutory rights. The operator must check the full-month refund approach, timing and consumer cancellation rights against the actual contract and applicable UK law.
7. Changes to plans or service
Features labelled “planned” are not currently available. The operator should notify customers of material service or price changes in advance and give any cancellation rights required by law or contract. No automatic upgrade or additional charge is authorised by this page.
8. Intellectual property
ProtoxTap and its licensors retain rights in their service materials and branding. Customers may use supplied cards and service links for their subscribed business in accordance with these terms. Customers remain responsible for having rights to business names, marks, text and other material they ask to be used. Third-party services, marks and materials remain subject to their owners' rights and terms.
9. Liability and legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, ProtoxTap does not guarantee a particular number, rating or outcome of reviews, or the availability or operation of third-party services. Any other limitations of liability must be reviewed for the operator's actual business and customer types before use.
10. Contact
For questions about these terms, email protoxbusinesses@gmail.com or call 07923 910153. The operator's legal identity and required address details must be added by the operator before launch.
